It's the dawn of a new season! This coming month we will celebrate the most awesome event of all time, the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior. In the midst of a time of war and national upset, one can become more vulnerable to feelings of turmoil and dismay. I pray that this Easter will fill all of our hearts with a sense of eternal hope. He is risen...Christ our Lord has risen indeed! The battle has already been won! He reigns in majesty for now and ever more! Hallelujah!

As we continue to serve Him, our hearts and minds focus on His splendor, and we look to the future with an unshakable belief that great things lie ahead. This past month is just another example of how His faithfulness prevails. It began with a trip to Haynesville, Louisiana. I was invited by Haynesville First Baptist Church to conduct the "Success that Matters" seminar. As a member of Man in the Mirror's faculty, I am asked to deliver this event from time to time throughout the year at various locations. Eighty five attended the seminar in Haynesville and two were saved. At the Sunday morning church services I shared my testimony and led five others into the kingdom! 

The following weekend, I was asked to conduct the "Men on Target" retreat for Lakeshore Vineyard Church, located in Holland, Michigan. Over eighty men attended the event and seven were saved. At Sunday's church services, I delivered my testimony to a congregation of five hundred, and another twenty five men and women accepted the Lord. In between those two gatherings, I was also asked to lead a men's breakfast. Thirty men came to hear my message entitled, "Leaving a Legacy." It was an amazing time of fellowship and growth. 

In last month's newsletter, you may remember my sharing a few of the details regarding my visit to the Minnesota District Men's Advance. While there I had the opportunity to speak to twelve hundred men and over two hundred pastors, representing Minnesota's entire district for the Assemblies of God. I spoke on the six structural elements of an effective church, a message that we are prayerfully considering for the subject of our second book. The Men's Advance was a tremendous success, and I am pleased to report that our teaching was well received.

Along with these ministry opportunities, I am thrilled to announce a new addition to On Target Ministries. Brian Tinker, formerly a member of the Man in Mirror staff in Florida, recently relocated his family to Colorado Springs. In doing so, he took an interest in our outreach and communicated a desire to be a part of our team. Brian shares our vision, and has a passion for where we are headed. With a unique sense of creativity and a background in marketing, Brian will be heading up the On Target Institute on a part-time basis, and helping us gather this material into a resource that can be offered to churches across the nation. We consider it a tremendous blessing to have him join us. Welcome Brian!

We trust the Lord for His provision, believing that He has led us to this awesome turning point in the life of our ministry. Before closing, I would like to announce the coming of our eighth annual golf tournament fund raiser. This event will be hosted by the Woodmoor Pines Country Club, located in Monument, Colorado. It is scheduled for Monday, June 23rd. We will tee off in the morning, and join together for a delicious catered lunch and prize ceremony in the Club House later that afternoon.
