Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior. I pray that you and your loved ones have enjoyed a wonderful month. I am always delighted to share the details of our events with you. However, the past few weeks were particularly special for several reasons…

The month began with a Couples on Target event and Valentine's Banquet at West Carrollton Church of the Nazarene in Ohio. Cindy and I traveled together to conduct this event. Fifty couples attended our weekend seminar, and between this gathering and the following church services, thirty were saved! Glory be to God!

Towards the middle of the month, I was invited to speak at an overnight pheasant hunt for a Forum Group. We all met fireside that evening and discussed the question, "What does it mean to be a man?" As I travel from event to event, I am finding that many Christian men struggle with the answer to this question. I feel a sense of urgency regarding the need to address this issue and deal with its effect upon our culture.

After our discussion, the next morning we set out on the hunt. I was thrilled to have my son-in-law, Mark join me on this trip, creating a great opportunity for some father-son bonding. We had an awesome time together. This was our first pheasant hunt and it was filled with adventure and a whole lot of laugher too! We were accompanied by professional hunting dogs, and it was amazing to watch them in action. All in all, it was an incredible weekend, and we hope to do it all again sometime soon.

The following weekend, I flew off to Greenville, South Carolina for a Men on Target event at Edwards Road Baptist Church. This was my second trip to this precious church. My first visit was over five years ago. I am delighted to report that six to eight men accepted the Lord during our seminar.

The next day, several wives approached me, thanking me for the seeds that were planted in their husbands' lives during our time together. I too was touched by the level of seriousness that these men had regarding their commitment to change. God worked powerfully among us all!

That morning, I delivered my message, "Real Christianity in an Unreal World." The congregation was extremely responsive and several others were saved. I thank the Lord for allowing me to reach out to this church. I am so thankful for the doors that He continues to open.

In addition to last month's events, we are still attempting to set up a meeting with the White House in an effort to create a partnership with our nation's leaders and the faith based community to reach men and boys. Laura Bush has recently communicated a need to reach boys, which has opened the door a little wider. Please continue to pray for this process as several key people are attempting to set up a meeting with our First Lady and her staff, and possibly the President himself. I am extremely excited to see what the Lord has in store!

In closing, I would like to announce that I have turned 60!! My family celebrated this milestone as well as the 10th anniversary of On Target Ministries by putting together an intimate surprise party at Maggiano's Little Italy in Denver. I entered the room to the theme song of the "Godfather" and was immediately greeted by several old and dear friends who had traveled from out of state to join us.

My son-in-law, Mark emceed the evening and did a fabulous job! My family also presented a special video presentation that included about a dozen birthday greetings from several other precious friends and mentors like Pastor Jack Hayford. It was an amazing night, and I remain overwhelmed and truly honored by all of the effort that went in to making it happen.

In addition to my family celebration, my 60th Birthday was also celebrated at our local On Target Institute meeting. Without my knowledge, the men collected a special offering a few weeks prior so that they could present On Target Ministries with a brand new video projector…something that they knew I was looking into for future ministry projects. What an awesome and truly generous surprise!

I feel incredibly blessed by the outpouring of love that I received this past week! A special thank you to all of you who contributed to my 60th Birthday celebration...it is a memory that is sure to last a lifetime!

May our precious Lord and Savior continue to bless you also, and keep you forever under the shadow of His mighty wing. Cindy and I love you and thank you for your continued partnership with us on this awesome journey!
