Seminar Pricing & Scheduling Information

How Much Is The Tuition?
The tuition is $45 in advance and $55 at the door. Pricing may vary depending upon size and type of event, prices also subject to change without notice. This seminar is ideal for men's weekend retreats where a fee rather than tuition can be worked out. Call 1-800-367-6364 for additional information.

Is There A Scholarship Plan?
YES. On Target Ministries is committed to making the seminar available to all men 14 and older. We do not want finances to keep men from attending. To help make this possible we make one (1) full scholarship available for every 20 paid attendees. It is good to give men partial scholarships to insure they are committed to attend. Additionally we encourage the local church to participate in this plan by covering others who may exceed the 1 in 20 formula.

Who Can Host a MOT Seminar?
On Target Ministries will come to an area if the event is sponsored by a local church or group of area churches. On Target Ministries dedicated to the building of the local church. Men On Target Seminars have been designed to encourage men to get involved in their local church and in men's small groups. Whenever possible we would like to hold seminars in a host church facility. On Target Ministries will conduct MOT seminars within the continental United States for a minimum of 100 men. The tuition includes our travel expenses and a Target Reference Manual for each man. Outside the continental United States, travel expenses will be additional.

Is a Deposit Required?
YES. A deposit of $500 (which will be applied toward tuition) is required. Your event date will be confirmed upon receipt of this deposit. Seminar cancellation 90 days in advance will receive a 100% refund and within 60 days will receive 50%. On Target Ministries will provide the PL Promo Pac to facilitate your promotion of the event.

What Comes In The PL Promo PAC?
The PL Promo Pac includes eight color posters (see sample on back cover), a press release, a promo video (a 5:00 cut for general audiences and an 8:00 cut for pastors). In addition, On Target Ministries provides a :60 and a :30 radio public service announcements (PSA) that can be locally tagged for your event. To keep the cost of tuition and shipping down we are supplying camera-ready artwork that you may copy or have printed locally. Included are 81/2" x 51/2" and 81/2" x 11" flier copy masters, group sign-up forms and a sample letter to area pastors.

On Target Ministries regularly places color ads in national Christian publications such as Promise Keepers' New Man Magazine, Ministries Today, etc. The PL Promo Pac contains an event time line and suggestions on ways the host church can get FREE local exposure for the event.

What Are The Facilities Requirements?
On Target Ministries MOT Seminars are informal men's events which can be done in the sanctuary, the fellowship hall or gym. Folding/stack chairs work okay. The maximum attendance of an event is determined by the size of your facility. We do suggest that a factor of 30% vacancy is needed for the small group interaction. Thus, if your room will seat 1000, the maximum registration goal would be 700. This will enable the men to spread out in the room as they break into their small groups. Adjacent rooms for small group circles are another option as the event fills up. Listed below are some additional facility requirements:
  • a good sound system with monitor for speaker (if possible)
  • a wireless lapel mic with extra batteries
  • one wired hand held mic with stand
  • overhead projector and screen
  • one 6-8 ft. table in room for products and supplies
  • one 6-8 ft. table at entrance for registration
  • additional sound system needs will depend on music

  • The host will supply hot coffee (caffeinated coffee preferred), soft drinks and ice water for the evening and morning sessions.

    Who Will Lead The Music?
On Target Ministries does not have a music leader on the traveling staff. We encourage the host church to provide a music leader as he will know which music styles the men are comfortable with. The music leader will receive one full scholarship to MOT. Typically, we will work with the music leader in advance of the event in order to choose the appropriate number and types of worship songs.
